I’ve been making videos for as long as I can remember. Back in the day, that meant roping friends and family into homemade movies with whatever camera I could find, editing on clunky software, and insisting my “school projects” be videos — every single time. Storytelling through visuals hooked me early and never really let go.

Life took me into the hospitality industry, where I spent years running restaurants and building great teams — even opening my own place with my wife. I loved the business side, but what really lit me up was the creative side: branding, marketing, and finding ways to tell a story that made people feel something.

In 2023, everything shifted. We got an unexpected offer to buy our restaurant — too good to refuse. That was my cue to go all-in on my first love: video. I launched a YouTube cooking channel called Patio Pizza, and to my surprise, it took off fast — over 8 million views and steady monthly income in year one.

Now, through Something Clever Co., I bring that same energy to every project — whether it’s a wedding that deserves the cinematic treatment, a documentary that brings a true story to life, a local event that needs to be remembered, or a brand that wants to connect in a deeper way.
