Portsmouth Makerspace needed a film that could communicate something bigger than the tools, equipment, and workshops inside their space. Through interviews with members, staff, and leadership, we built a story around the people who make the Makerspace what it is—and the idea that making is fundamentally human. The project combined documentary-style interviews with cinematic footage of members woodworking, welding, creating, collaborating, and learning from one another. The finished brand film gives Portsmouth Makerspace a compelling way to tell its story to potential members, donors, partners, and the broader community while capturing the creativity, connection, and sense of possibility that happens when you give people a place to make.
